Which part of U.S. Govt can I write to against raising cigarette taxes?

For my U.S. Government class, I must write a U.S. postal letter to some part of the Government concerning raising cigarette taxes, whether it is the senator, house of representatives, or state (Texas). I am not sure as to which one of these is the correct one to send a letter to and if someone could please help me with a website to find the information on how to send a postal letter to one of these branches? Maybe an address?

Thank you guys so much!

  1. You can find your member of the House of Representatives at www. house. gov. Follow the instructions to find your member.

Find your senators at www. senate. gov.

To find your state legislators, go to
    www. usa. gov
    click “state government”
    then click “state legislators”
