What was the number of Congressman and Senators in each of the slave and free states as of 1850?

I was wondering what was the number of congressmen and senators in 1850.

The free states were: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin

The slave states were: Delaware Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama

Can anyone tell me the number of senators and congressmen in Each state as of 1850

Thank You in advance =)

  1. You missed a state. California came into the Union as a free state in 1850. That means 32 Senators from free states and 30 from slave states. Due to having a huge population advantage (Calif, Pa, NY), the free states would have far more Representatives then slave states.
