this question was on my AP Gov’t test…I couldn’t decide b/w hispanics and blacks. I figured that there are no black senators but there are a lot of representatives in the house like jim clyburn. I think there might be a hispanic senator from texas but idk…i am sure there are some in house. me and my partner for the quiz had a debate over this and he just said african americans and i said hispanics…i am having second thoughts tho >.>

Probably blacks and gays
Avowed atheists. There are none in all of congress.
Women of all colors, religions, etc, we are 52% of the population.
The least representative group in the US Congress is the Native American. I do not think that there is any full blooded Native American in Congress.
Either Muslims or Pacific Asians.

WHY is it people are so obsessed with race, and ethnicity. You’re basically saying the a white Sentaor (like, Hillary Clinton) doesn’t give a crap about African-Americans, or Hispanics.
I’m a white conservative and even I don’t believe that. I think Clinton does care about African-Americans, and Hispanics. I don’t think you have to BE one, to represent and champion the cause ??

I say Americans in general are least represented. It seems as though the multi-national corporation its lobbyist and their views are much more represented than us the common man!
There are no lobbyists for the common man; the lower middle class fellow busting his rump at work and who belongs to no “group” or subset of the larger community. This is a lot of people but not a special interest.
