I am and I sent him the following e-mail:
Hon. Senator Cornyn,
It was with great disappointment that I learned of your vote against legislation which would banned the practice of ear-mark placement in bills before the legislature. As you well know, the piggy-pig-pigs in government are spending our nation into oblivion and any legislator who is not willing to be a part of the solution to the problem, IS part of the problem. Why, if Republicans are in support of limited government (as I have always believed we are), are you unwilling to vote for legislation which would essentially reduce the amount of power that the government has to bankrupt the American People? Politicians on both sides of the isle wonder how the TEA Party has grown in popularity, power and influence; your demonstration of your unwillingness to curb the governments’ pork-lust and ability to pile an ever-increasing debt load upon the American People is a perfect example of why so many are seeking political alternatives.
I am curious as to your justifications for your vote and await your explanation.
Do you plan to join me in grilling Mr. Cornyn for his betrayal of one of our core principles, or will you simply go unheard?
You are trying to blame him for the billions in earmarks that Obama promised not to sign but did anyway? LOL
