    As for the Senate elections. . .
    First and foremost,Texas (and all states for that matter) has two Senators. Second, Texas was not electing any new Senators this year (the entire Senate does not come up for election during every election year. . . it’s staggered so that approximately one-third of the seats are up for election every two years). So the same people who won the last election are still the Texas Senators.
