A lot of people seem obsessed by the fact that the shooter apparently had a Muslim-sounding name. For me,the fact that jumped out was that he was an army psychiatrist. I’ve known a few psychiatrists in my time, and they have all been, without exception, batshit insane. Shoot the lot of ‘em, I say. The sooner the better.

He WAS Muslim. He was born Muslim according to his family
He was never deployed. He was scheduled for deployment and did not want to go.
To the writer. You are right to this degree. What he wanted did not matter. He understood this when he signed the dotted line to join the military and become an officer. If he had objections he never should have joined in the first place. The rest of your "question" is just a rant.
Edit: Do you know what a rant is? I had facts on the table. You had opinions. I see you can respond to my "rant." However you cannot refute my facts or argument. Yes, killers can be anyone. No where in my argument did I say they can’t. This coward however was a Muslim who didn’t believe in the war and wrote papers that could arguably say he supports Muslim terrorist activities. This was not about a man burned out and tired of war. This is about a man who did not want to serve his country and choose his faith over his country. He is a calculating cold-blooded murder. Al Queda would be very proud of him.
As for reporting you. I see no reason to. To assume I would is childish. I do not report. I debate. If I think it is not worth debating, I ignore it.
