Why would you take the most extremist conservative man off the bench to make him president? If Obama is the nominee McCain folks are talking about countering it with Clarence Thomas. If McCain faces Hillary McCain will pick the female Senator from Texas. Why does McCain have to pick people like this… I wish they do ask Clarence Thomas, hes one enemy we need off the bench.. to conservative to be on the bench

Nobody is seriously talking about having Clarence Thomas enter electoral politics.

Yes, it would be nice to get him off the bench. It would be nicer still if Obama-Webb (I’m hoping for Webb) beat McCain-Thomas, replaced Thomas with a liberal / moderate, and then replaced (the aged) Powell with a liberal / moderate.
Why should he leave a job that’s very prestigious, the dream job for any lawyer, and guaranteed for life for a job that’s been described that’s been described as “not worth a bucket of warm spit” and will last eight years at best?
