    It’ll be interesting to see what he does in 2010 when it’s time to defend his Congressional seat. The man is getting up there in years and after the scare his wife had a few months back, who could blame him for wanting to spend time with his family.

    I would be thrilled if RP ran in 2012, but we need to look for a younger man to take the ball and run. Dr. Paul has to be pro-active in identifying this person and providing his endorsement early. WIth things so bad, the opportunity is now!

    I remember Bob Schieffer being far less cordial during a ‘Meet the Press’ interview during the campaign. Didn’t want to legitimize a campaign for smaller and restrained government.

    Rally around Paul… act as if he is running in 2012… promote his message.

    He is spawning liberty candidates for Congress and Senate 2010, and we can truly lay the groundwork for a 2012 campaign.

    If Paul sees a real chance at restoring the constitution, i think he’ll have a hard time refusing the offer… he’s too much of a patriot.

    I hope ron paul can be persuaded to change his mind. There’s just no one out there who even nearly compares to him. He has such a strong sense of intergrity and of his ideals. Having said that, he has already done an incredible amount for the cause of liberty, more than anyone else and we should be very thankful that.

    Yeah, but if he got voted in that would mean the majority of citizens finally believe in, and understand freedom and liberty. Rallying around this guy, and giving the die hard supporters a couple of years to talk with friends about the reality of the situation is enough to possibly get it done. I have many people on board with this man who had never heard of him 6 months ago.
