But something far more serious has happened than an image problem: the Republican Party has become the party of obstruction at just the time when all Americans should be pulling together for the good of our country. Instead, Republicans are today’s party of obstruction sabotaging American economic recovery.

I think you have that backward. The Stock Market doe not like what BHO is doing nor does it trust Tim Geithner, Secretary of the Treasury. One is inexperienced and the other is a tax cheat. The Republican party has a different belief system than the present controlling party. It comes down to whether or not the American people want a socialistic or capitalistic system. The Republicans believe that spending vast sums of money will cause major problems in the future. By aiding those who made bad judgments in the past supports failure rather than success. It would appear that the country is moving toward socialism caused mainly by those in our educational system.
