  1. When exactly did the Tea Party become ‘extreme’? Last time I checked they were made up of members of all political affiliations.

And by the way, the Arizona House voted BIPARTISAN in support of this law.

  2. No, the party has moved too far to the left and it has hurt them badly. .

Only 49% of TEA Party protesters are Republicans and I don’t see that they have done anything that could in anyway be called extreme at all. .

  3. I don’t think so. Republicans have been written off many times before.

  4. No, the Republican Party hijacked the extreme right.

  5. Yes they have, you never head about a Moderate, only about some rant from Beck or Palin.

  6. McCain is hardly far right, he’s more of a R. H. I. N. O. (Republican in name only)
If anything, it has moved left.

  7. Nope. Obviously not.
You are unable to cite a GOP policy that followed the advice of “the extreme right” and you KNOW that.

  8. The extreme right has become the republican party!
Even the maverick himself doesn’t have a good leg to stand on anymore.

The way things are going it will be a Palin / Backman ticket for the GOP.

  9. If by “extreme Right” you mean Conservatives. . . Then I’d have to say OH, I HOPE SO!

But rather than seal the fate of the Republican Party, that could be the party’s last hope.

  10. I WISH.

There are 2 things MISSING in Washington. . . . an “extreme” conservative and a “moderate” liberal

  11. The tea partiers are not all republicans. The immigration law in AZ forces only laws already on the B

  12. It’s probably time to start distinguishing between the two Tea Party groups because there is a conservative side and a libertarian side. The libertarian side supports Ron Paul. The con side supports Palin or whoever.

  13. I am pretty sure the majority of the GOP is still far to the left of me. Regarding the tea parties, fiscal responsibility is hardly an extreme position.

  14. And how!

It was done early in the Bush Administration. They decided that they could get more votes by appealing to their base constituents on the right. They went over board and they isolated single mothers, Latinos, people of color, and the homosexuals.

They also abandoned trying to prove that they are the party of competency. That is why they lost big time in the last elections.

  15. It was already hijacked by idiots from the extreme left. Hopefully it will go back to the right. Look at Bush, Romney, McCain, ect. If Romney or McCain were president they would have passed the same health care bill and continued bailing out the corporations and banks just like Obama. There isn’t any point in voting Republican unless they start putting in more conservative candidates.

  16. PLEASE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    I DIDNT SEE TEA PARTY PEOPLE IN ARIZONA. . . . . . . . JUST ALOT OF ILLEGALS THAT FEEL ENTITLED TO FREE WELFARE AND FOOD STAMPS. . . . . . . . . .

IT JUST MAKES THEM ANGRY THAT THE FREE STATE GOODS ARE NOT GOING TO BE GIVEN TO THEM !!!!!

    EXTREME RIGHT ???? THESE ARE PEOPLE WHO MILITARY TYPE GROUPS. . . . . . .

    I HAVE NOT SEEN THEM. . . . . . . . .

    AT LEAST CALL THEM THE WAY THEY SEE THEM. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

  17. Those that are saying the tea baggers are bipartisan are liars. They may be 2% democratic, but certainly they are upwards of 90% replublican and 8% Libertarian and other right-oriented parties.

  18. upon reading this book 5000 year leap the question that intrigues me the most is power of gov’t or power of the citizenry v. s. right or left the tea party’s main objective is to provide access of power for the people, thats you and me, all of us, we may not agree on most issues, but the gov’t is not listening and that must be changed. individual duties and responsibilities are ignored and whining about rights has become the status quo
