As a product of the 1930s, the Democrat Party has always been known as the “Democrat Party” (((until recently))), when I’ve been, at times, rudely told that the Democrat Party is the Democratic Party.
Since the word “Democratic” which is an adjective, as opposed to the word, “Democrat ,” being a noun, why do so many insist on the Democrat Party be improperly called the Democratic Party?
Another point:
I think that most of those proponents of the Democrat Party just don’t realize that the Democrat Party has been taken over by the Progressives. The Democrat Party had been the home of traditional Liberals until the contemporary Liberals had co-opted the Democrat Party, closely followed by the Progressives.
What do you think?

I guess they’re just trying to make themselves sounds more American and Constitutional
Because the Democrats call themselves the Democratic Party.
I agree with you about Democrats not realizing what’s going on. Many of the people I work with are life long Democrats and they still loyally vote Democrat in every election – no questions asked.
A Liberalisti party, a republican party, Democratic a party. Granted, & quot; Libertarian& quot; and & quot; Republican& quot; it can as adjective or article word be used either but I that think, what comes it down, is the word & quot; Party& quot; an article word and the word are unveränderlich & quot; Democrat& quot; straight doesn& #039; t sound like an adjective, even if that& #039; s the correct way to understand it.
Golly, could it be because that has been its name since about the 1870′s, and the maggots of the right who pretend to be so officious and dutiful are just scumbag liars and frauds?
Dunce, “democratic” is INDEED an adjective, which is a modifier of the word “Party”. What part of that are you too stupid to understand? Oh. And “republican” is ALSO an adjective. Do you suggest the “other” party should be called the “Republic” Party? If you can’t make sense, at least try to find out of what “making sense” consists, and remain silent when you cannot even come CLOSE.
And the party was very different before about 1928, but it has indeed been around some sixty years BEFORE that.
Read some books. MANY, MANY BOOKS.
Perhaps you have a moderate or sane friend who can explain to you what a “book” is, since it seems unlikely you could possibly know.
Ditto grammar and the English language.
Why are you English skills so bad that you do not grasp what an adjective is or does? Second language? Third? Are YOU an illegal?
Start making sense.
