FIRST OF ALL, I’m an independent and I do not belong to any party. In fact, I don’t really like either one.
But I find it comical how the democratic party claims they are the party of peace and tolerance, but then bash anyone who isn’t a democrat or liberal. I see hateful bumper stickers from more democrats than I do republicans.
The republican party isn’t perfect, but at least they don’t claim to be all tolerant and peaceful and then do the exact opposite.
BOTH parties are lame. but overall, I find the democratic party more lame.
I think both major parties are pretty lame. In general, I think they both pay their issues only lip service, with their only common goal being gaining more political power.

The party itself isn’t bad. The fact that it’s been hijacked by progressives. . . Well that’s a different story.

Sorry. Republicans are hypocrites, too. All politicians are, so if you think you are truly an independent then you should rethink that. All parties slam others that don’t follow their ideology. I defy you to listen to Mark Levin, John Gibson, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, or Laura Ingraham (. . . . . ) and not think conservatives are hate and fear mongers that seemingly lack sympathy.
It’s sad isn’t it. That the Party of Kennedy has drifted so far away from a great party to to a group of that hates all the time.
