Tea party group passes 1st hurdle for Michigan ballot
The mysterious self-proclaimed tea party organization seeking political party status for Michigan’s November ballot cleared its first hurdle before a state elections panel today despite spirited protests from tea party activists who believe the new party is a fraud.
