seriously made me cry! i was lucky enough to be present at this historic event! i waited almost two days ina line outside the excel to get to see him and it was worth the wait!! i didn’t regret it for one moment! he filled the largest venue in the area and people were filling the streets of st. paul to watch it on the big screen outside. much like they did in time square when he gave his speech at the DNC!! simply amazing! a true moment in history!!

I’ve watched almost every single presidential speech this year from all of the candidates. I could barely stay awake through McCain’s. and hillary’s just made me bored. But Barack Obama’s Speech gave me shivers in my spine. When he finished this speech and the entire audience cheered and applauded for him that was the most awesome moment i’ve ever experienced and i was only watching it on TV :]

Hey, what’s with the homophobic reference in the prior comment!?!? I also love his message and his passion and his courage. He really is inspiring us to come together and build on our better selves.

I was there and was able to make it in. That was the biggest line I had ever seen. I was only in the middle and we were blocks away from the actual building. If his speech wasn’t inspiring (which it definately was), seeing all those people waiting in line said it all.

Which may be a joke at the Republicans’ expense, as they (I think it was Reagan?) wanted “Born In The USA” as their campaign song at one time, obviously not realising what it was about haha.

My buddy and I got there pretty late and for the next couple hours, people were still making their way to the back of the line. I’m not lying when I say — not one person had a frown on their face as they were walking to the back of the line, almost certainly not to get into the rally. It was like nothing I’d ever seen before.

God bless Obama. God bless America.
