The Mexican-American War of 1846-1848 . Ulysses S. Grant wrote about the war in his memoirs as…”one of the most unjust ever waged by a stronger against a weaker nation.” Abraham Lincoln who was a congressman at the time was bitterly opposed to the war. As a result the United States got California, New Mexico, Nevada parts of New Mexico and Colorado as well as undisputed control of Texas.
Mexico did not murder or rape no one, the Spanish probably did but not the Mexicans why Mexico didnt even exist yet. Mexico is a mix of indegineous tribes(Aztecs, Mayas, etc.) and people that came over from Spain.
And the USA should give back the land to the Native Americans they murdered and raped.

In the year 2010 this is the issue you are worried about. Those poor people who lost and those who won are long gone. Maybe Mexico should worry about drugs and corruption.

Mexico lost all that land due to their own sheer ineptitude. All Mexico had to do was suppress a tiny little revolt in Texas in 1835. Despite vastly superior military forces, Mexico had it’s butt decisively whipped by the Texans and Texas became an independent country by the Treaty of Velasco in 1836. Texas chose to join the United States in 1845. Mexico encroached on US territory at the Rio Grande and got it’s butt kicked again in the Mexican War. Seems simple enough. Now all that Mexico can do is whine about it 165 years later.
If Mexico wants the land back, they can come and try to take it and receive their third butt whuppin.
And no one cares about what the likes you think the US should do.
Doesn’t matter because they will take it back no matter what with the HUGE explosion of Hispanics, or mexicans-americans, whatever politically correct term you want to use in the Southeast and West.
In 15 years they will have their land back.

Mexicans are not American Indians!
The “Aztecs” and “Mayans” are extinct!
Most were wiped out during the 300 year Spanish rule! Very few survived to mix with the Spanish!
Mexicans have mostly European blood! “Brown skin” does not make any Mexican an American Indian!
They have it because many Spaniards were, and still are Brown (Olive) skinned! (NOT ALL Europeans are light skinned!)
And from the African Blood Mexicans have (Yes, many do) from when Spaniards held slaves in Mexico.
So get over it!

As for the territory Mexico lost (in a war they started with the U.S.) it was only part of Mexico for 20 years! It was sparsely inhabited and mostly unlivable desert! And the U.S. paid for it after the war!

“All Mexico” was favored by leading politicians,
newspaper editors,
and members of the Polk cabinet.
Polk was urged by many
to annex the whole country of Mexico into the United States,

Why do we even go to the trouble of drafting and by signing, entering into a treaty with other nations.
Perhaps we should just fight wars until there is no man standing. Surely this can not be the right thing to do which is why we have negotiations and treaties. The bottom line is that the Mexican government agreed to cede the territory to the U.S. by signing the Treaty of Guadeloupe Hidalgo which officially brought an end to the Mexican American War. Mexico accepted 15 million dollars for the territory in question. Look back in history and you will most likely not find a single war that was not unjust.
They sold the land by the way. Check the Gadsen Purchase.
They were compensated after that war for the land, when nothing had to be given to them.
In Texas, they lost fair and square. Half of Mexico seceeded due to a dictator comming in power. Their unwillingness to accept a war that they freely made and the people they massacred in the process led to the next war.
Then perhaps the barbarians should give back the land they took from Rome

It was never theirs, they inherited it from Spain. There were more American citizens living on it at all times than Mexicans. It was something they stumbled into because spain claimed almost the total of two continents. They had it for less years than I have been alive, and they had let people occupying it than live in my town.
So no, I really don’t care what you think, They didn’t want it until we built on it, gave it infrastructure, and made it liveable. That is like you having a crappy piece of swampland which you sell away for 100 bucks, and someone builds a casino on it worth billions and now you want it back.
How about kicking all Mexicans off their land giving the land back to the native tribes?

Geronimo was born in 1829, his name at birth was Goyathlay (One Who Yawns), in what is now Clifton, Arizona. His father died at an early age and the young Goyathlay took on the responsibility of taking care of his mother. At the age of 17, he was admitted to the Council of the Warriors. He then married Alope and had three children. In 1858 while trading in a Mexican village called Kas-Ki-Yeh, the Mexican army attacked the village killing the warriors left behind and most of the women and children, among the dead were Goyathlay’s mother, his wife , and his children. A year later the Apache tribes converged on the Mexican army and extracted revenge for the massacre. Goyathlay was allowed the honor of leading the attack because of the great loss he had suffered at the hands of the Mexicans. Many years of fighting with the Mexican army followed. The War with the Mexican army ended in 1883.
