If Texas is such a conservative state, why is it that Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Laredo, Austin, El Paso, Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, etc.
Pretty much ALL vote Democrat?
And how is it that even with these major cities voting against them, how is it the state goes Republican in virtually every election?
I am originally from Texas and I think Texas is diverse, but the Democrats don’t come out in force, because they seem content.
I know you mean no harm, but questions like this opens the door for all the racist to chime in, before they go back to pretending they are not bigots, just look at the answers.

Urban areas go predominately democrat nationwide. Suburban areas tend to go predominately republican nationwide. Rural areas are the tossup…but lately have been going republican nationally and democrat locally except for this last election when they went democrat nationally.

No doubt most states are conservative, but the Cities are where all those socialists run everything, so it makes sense to say the more rural areas, ranches etc.etc. where people are working their butts off, and not cheating are the more Conservative. One thing to consider is that many big cities have a large number of "transplants." People from other states who moved there for work.
Also, the big cities have more blacks who vote 85 to 90% Demcrat.
