It seems like I either get a lot of hate or a lot of love for being Texan. I’m proud, but I’m just curious why people have such opinions on us. What about Montana or Idaho or somewhere else? Is it because of location or politics?

If we make it a political issue we would have another issue in which we would win the “intellectual” debate on,for creationists have common sense.I think Glenn Beck should comment on this so that we have some leadership on this issue,I am curious to know what he will do about it.And think about it,if we make the Republican Party less secular ,we will saved the secular Republicans !
Wouldn’t the Republican Party be screwed if Texas ever decided to secede from the Union? They would never be able to get enough electoral college votes to win any future presidential elections unless a big blue state like California ever turned red, which would be nearly impossible.
If you were a Republican from Texas (or any state), would you not ask yourself if seceding from the Union would be ideal considering how detrimental it would be to the rest of your fellow Republicans? It would seem incredibly selfish to me.
I entered college when I was twelve years old. Currently I have a G.P.A. of 5.93 and I look to find a career in politics. My longterm goal (as it may be for many americans) is to become the president of the United States. This corrupt economy we live in needs a real change, and I can start that change. Any ideas on how to start my career. What would be A good university.
By the way, I do have proof of my college status. I’ll need it any way.
For my U.S. Government class, I must write a U.S. postal letter to some part of the Government concerning raising cigarette taxes, whether it is the senator, house of representatives, or state (Texas). I am not sure as to which one of these is the correct one to send a letter to and if someone could please help me with a website to find the information on how to send a postal letter to one of these branches? Maybe an address?
