What vested interest does the republican party have in seeing a depression in our country?
Our economy is dangerously close to deflation (depression) with no job growth. Stimulus spending is the only thing holding the system up and the repubs want to stop it.
We all know that a depression will cause another transfer of wealth to the most wealthy people as ordinary people loose their assets.
But what advantage is here for the ordinary man on the street republican?
Is he just the dupe of the real powers which control their party?
