HE IS NOT WILLING TO ROLLOVER & PLAY DEAD FOR HER ON HER HUSBAND’S DUBIOUS CONTRIBUTIONS FROM FOREIGN SOURCES TO HIS FOUNDATION. SHE IS AFTER ALL SUPPOSED TO BE SECY. OF STATE & THIS MAY INFLUENCE HER.
I sure hope so. I love his proposals. He also wants to put Willie and Lance Armstrong on his staff. I believe he can have a great impact on Texas.
He has a passion for Texas and a refreshing attitude rather than politics as normal. Texas government is screwed up badly and we need to have more than a guy with good hair or a half baked grandma running things.
He Ain’t Kinky, He’s My Governor!
Speaking to an adoring crowd at Netroots Nation in Austin, the General said that he "was taken out of context" when, on CBS’ Face the Nation, he remarked that McCain’s time as a POW did not serve as a qualification for the White House
"There is just no other way to say it," said Clark. "Someone said to me ‘This is a playbook operation by the right wing freak machine, the great freak show where they take a statement, distort it, blast it out of context and make it personal. They are so good at it they did all three steps in three hours and you fought back and I’m grateful for you from the bottom of my heart.’"
The irony continued soon thereafter, when the McCain campaign (after insinuating that military service was not fodder for a general election) put out a campaign commercial that focused greatly on his time in Vietnam.

What do you think?
Wesley Clark is one of my heroes!!!!!
He’s not a victim. He spoke the truth and stands strong.
As long as you speak the truth for the good of the people, you’re a winner.
The rest are part of a fascist propaganda machine that is trying to turn US taxpayer wealth over to global corporations.
Clark will have no part of that. He’s a hero.
Keep speaking up and you will be too.
As the list of prosecutable crimes by this administration grows, is the Democratic party acting in the best interests of this nation and transcending partisan politics for the greater good (i.e. let’s just get these ay-holes out of here and fix the country while there’s still time)? Or, are they shirking their responsibility and leaving the door open to future rogue administrations? What is the right thing to do?
It’s not time yet. Once there is a Democrat in office they will have the power to move forward and no one there to pardon everyone. But if they don’t start taking action beginning January 21, 2009, I would say at that time we got screwed by both parties.
I often hear how blacks say the republican party is racist, yet no one can give be an official part of the republican platform thats racist..
I am African American, and I’ve never heard this before. And I’m sure you haven’t either, your just going off something you heard your family say or something.
Phil Graham.
This Republican from Texas actually wrote the bill that repealed the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933, which had prohibited rampant speculation on the stark market that had caused the original Great Depression.
Roger Levy (a lobbyist of Citygroup) worked with Graham in writing this Act that was signed in 1999. Citigroup paid over 200 million dollars in "contributions" in 1998.

McCain recently distanced himself from fmr. Senator Graham during this election year after Graham’s controversial comments regarding the US economy and how the nation is full of a bunch of whiners.
Is anyone actually aware that Phil Graham acted as McCain’s advisor up until this summer? Why is this not being widely reported by the main stream media?
I wonder what Obama might say when McCain brings up Ayers "the evil unrepentant terrorist" during Wednesday’s debate.
Yes. I have known about Phil Gramm a loooong time because I have lived in Texas twenty-five years. We are all paying for extreme Republican values now. But they have been wanting to get back to this kind of playing field since the crash of the 1920′s. For eighty years they have said it was never their fault. I think we just saw a warning of believing that and taking deregulation too far….As well Gramms remark about it all in our heads enraged people even in Texas.
or texas state senator?
I mean the name
There are 31 State Senators in Texas and the state’s two U.S. Senators are Kay Bailey Huchison and John Cornyn.
