Is there any legislation in Texas about if a power of attorney is still in effect after a divorce is final?

A durable power of attorney is different and separate from the marriage contract.

Believe me… it can be a very painful lesson.

What are the duties of a texas junior senator?

State or federal?

What propositions etc. are we voting on during the presidential election in Texas?

I know we will have to opportunity to vote on a number of things other than the candidates on Tuesday. I’d like to know what they are and a little bit about each one.
I vote in Dallas county.

i live in justin and there were only three… two county bond issues…
one local issue <allow sale of liquor>

Does the thought come to mind, to quote Austin Powers, who are these people as you peruse the election section?

chg

We are either McCain voters or Obama worshipers.

How did the democratic party influence the election of 1828?

I need to know how the democratic party affected the election of 1828 (Andrew Jackson).

luckily for you i’m in ap us history, and i just studied this portion of history for the AP exam in a few weeks.

well, jackson was significant in many ways. he was the first president not from Virginia and Massachusetts, and the first one with conservative principles.

as for the actual election of 1828, jackson won for a few reasons:

1. The campaign was ruthless. Adams made some low-ball moves, such as insulting Jackson’s wife, and some people felt that he was very corrupt by making the deal with Henry Clay.

2. Jackson was in favor of the Western pioneers, and Southern Plantation owners, which outnumbered the Northeastern factory urbanites that supported Q. Adams.

3. The people seemed to be fed up with the Federalists. John Quincy Adams was the last Federalist candidate, and the party dissolved after 1830 when they were accused of organizing an anarchical revolt.

the democratic party influenced in the same way it did in 2008, the people were fed up with the federalists, and they wanted to give the new guys a chance.

but it was mainly the politics of the election that influenced the outcome.

good luck!

How did the Republican Party become the richest political party in America?

There are three ways to approach this premise. Trace back the richest Republican families heritage, seek cooperation from foreign banks, and trace back legislation that was passed throughout America’s history.

What say you?

P.S. You’d think that the richest political party in America would at least help to create more jobs throughout America. Is their greed and prosperity blinding them? Or are they simply not loyal to America anymore?
Please say How you think they became the richest political party in America. Did they steall the taxpayers money over many years of their rule, or thru inheritance, state what you think caused the Republican Party became the richest political party in America. If its a corporation state the corporations donating the most to the Republican Party.

It is the party of the rich, and corporations who make sure their coffers are full.

Are you ready to back up the president by electing new governors in the larger states?

Like new faces to California, Texas, New York, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida? Such as women and non-career politicians that did not serve as legislators, mayors or other statewide offices in these states? Like new regular people who are willing to bring our real issues to the table with out tainted relations with lobbyists and corporations or attachments to other politicians who think they are know it alls or part of the click?
The Clintons are trying to put a mayor from San Francisco in California on the ticket – to secure a run for Hillary in 2010, and they are pressuring the same way in New York and Florida, recently I heard about the same thing happening in Michigan. Hillary is still trying to become President, and I don’t trust her one bit.
SORRY, HILLARY WILL RUN IN 2012 AGAIN, BET YA.

I`m trying to make some sense of your question. What office is Hillary Clinton running for in 2010?

As to voting for a governor in order to support Pres Hussein, not even in your dreams. I`m counting down the 1,461 days that he has left to finish his term.

Is Texas Congressman Ron Paul a conspiracy theorist or does the Bush regime have America fooled again?

by TX Congressman Ron Paul -http://www.house.gov/paul/tst/tst2006/ts…
Globalists & one-world promoters never tire of coming up with ways to undermine the sovereignty of the US. The most recent attempt comes in the form of the misnamed "Security and Prosperity Partnership Of North America (SPP)." In reality, this new "partnership" will likely make us far less secure and certainly less prosperous. According to the SPP website, this "dialogue" will create new supra-national organizations to "coordinate" border security, health policy, economic and trade policy, and energy policy between the governments of Mexico, Canada, and the United States. As such, it is but an extension of NAFTA- and CAFTA-like agreements that have far less to do with the free movement of goods and services than they do with government coordination and management of international trade.

if the SPP is so benign, why is Bush keeping it a a secret?
If it was so great wouldn’t he want to tell the world?
God knows he hasn’t had any good press that he hasn’t bought since he has been in office…

Wow, a Repub said all that? Bravo

is there any pending federal legislation or texas state legislation regarding the mimimum wage?

what is the current federal minimum wage, and are there any bills before congress to change it, or is there anything on the state level in texas that would affect it?

Current minimum wage is 5.15/hour. There is nothing in Texas pending. On the federal level, there were 2 proposals last year. The Democratic proposal would have raised it to 7.25/hour; this effort was led by Ted Kennedy. The Republican proposal would have raised it to 6.25/hour; this effort was led by Sen Rick Santorum. These were to be added to the bankruptcy law last year but both of these were defeated.
